The Adirondack Sports Winter Expo returns on Saturday-Sunday, November 2-3 to the Albany Capital Center at 55 Eagle Street in downtown Albany. Admission is free for the two-day show, slated to take place from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. There’s plenty of free on-street and garage parking available adjacent to the center both days, and the Albany Auto Show is next door at the MVP Arena.

The Adirondack Sports Winter Expo will feature $10,000 in prizes, including lift tickets, trail passes, gift certificates, outdoor gear, snowshoes, lodging, and much more. There will be après-ski themed lunch and drink options, including craft beer and wine, soft drinks, sandwiches, soups, salads, and kid-friendly items.

One of the ski industry’s original and most popular winter sports shows – appealing to novice and advanced participants alike – at 61 years, it’s the longest-running ski show in the US, now owned and produced by Adirondack Sports. This year’s expo will feature an upbeat, high energy mix of 100 exhibitors, with something for adults and families to enjoy.

The line-up of exhibitors – including Kingston-based Potter Brothers Ski & Snowboard Shops with special show pricing on premium ski and snowboard equipment, outerwear and accessories; Gore; Whiteface; Killington; Stratton, and many more independent areas – are expected to fill the second level of the Albany Capital Center, which has been home to the show since the venue first opened in 2017. 

In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding resorts from New York, Vermont and New England, the annual Adirondack Sports Winter Expo will incorporate new ski and snowboard gear, outerwear, and accessories at fantastic prices, more alpine and cross-country ski resorts, clubs, destinations, events and family activities. 

Dating back to the 1960s, the Albany Ski Show later evolved into the Snow Show, Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo, and Northeast Ski & Craft Beer Showcase. Similar to last year’s event, free admission entitles every participant to a chance at over $10,000 in prizes. In addition to the converted winter enthusiasts, one of our goals is to encourage more people to get outside and be active during the winter – it’s healthy and good for you!
